Playa de las Americas in the south of Tenerife - the most touristic area

The Playa de las Américas (or shortly Las Américas) in conjunction with the by now grown together neighbour city Los Cristianos represent the main touristic centres of Tenerife. Round about two thirds of all offered beds for tourists are located here.

Anyone, who wants to have a fully equipped beach holiday in which everything (from a party named "Verónicas" - to a golden sandy beach, as well as numerous kinds of active sports) is offered, is definetly right at this place as a holiday guest. The yearlong warm and low precipiation climate assures a sunny vacation in Las Américas. But lonely and quiet hours of holidays are most likely not found here.
