Chio - Tenerife
Chio isn't the place where the famous potatoe chips come from, but it's a quiet place at the southern side of Tenerife. In the surrounding of the town there are several fincas, which partly also are rented for tourists and very popular with peace seaking vacationers. In Chio itself the finca - vacationer will find good shopping possibilities.
The town in the sunny south west of Tenerife belongs to the Teno Mountains and is located on a height of about 600 metres. One is already in short time in the heart of the Mountains and can do beautiful hikes.
The nice gardens of the inhabitants of Chio are decorated with lemon, orange and palm trees. From january to march furthermore the almond trees bloom and give the place its own flair.
After a curvy arrival you are rewarded with a phenomenal view on the Teno Mountains and the Atlantic. Chio is especially attractive because of its nativeness and the few tourism.
In about half an hour you get to the southern airport.
