Then you should take a look at the fishing village San Miguel de Tajao. This coastal town is namely located exactly between the two bigger places El Médano and Porís de Abona (each about quater of an hour drive with the rental car away). The southern airport is also reachable in roughly a 15 minutes drive.

Anyone spending their holidays here not only gets the taste of a delicious kitchen including daily fresh seafood, but also visits a little touristy place away from mass tourism.

Silence, relaxation and numerous sunny hours wait for you here. There are also some natural beaches only a few minutes away from the centre by foot. Because of that individual tourists like to stay in cultivated holiday rentals and fincas in the Canarian style in the sourrounding of San Miguel de Abona.

Anyone wanting to see the southern tourism centres too, should visit Las Américas or Los Cristianos (about 25 minutes of driving away).
