A holiday place in the sunny south of the Canary Island Tenerife - that is San Isidro de Abona.

Because: At this yearlong warm little place one is located in a good distance to the southern main tourism centres of the island - Las Américas and Los Cristianos (both are reachable in about twenty minutes of driving with the rental car).

Also an individual vacation is possible in San Isidro de Abona. Because: besides numerous good restaurants with local and international kitchen and shopping possibilities for catering, souvenirs and much more - there are also cultivated holiday houses, apartments and luxury accomodation available for the holiday guest.

Furthermore in only a few driving minutes (about 5 if traffic conditions are good) one gets to the southern airport - also reachable with the public bus line.

Also golf enthusiasts come to their taste within a short drive. After a quater of an hour of driving (depending on the traffic) one gets to two large golf complexes Golf de Sur and Amarilla Golf. Amarilla Golf has a 18-hole complex while Golf de Sur has three 9-hole complexes both with a great view on the Atlantic Ocean and bunkers filled with black volcanic sand. Not only worth a tee shot for professionals.

There are also numerous hiking routes in a comfortable distance. Like to the Montaña de Ifara y Los Riscos (about a 2 hours hike) or to the Montaña Colorada (an about 4 hours lasting hike).

Surfers get after a ten minutes drive (with the rental car) from San Isidro de Abona to El Médano - the paradise for wind surfers (this coastal town is famous for its strong wind streams and the resulting high waves).
