Buen Paso in the north of Tenerife - The best houses in a quiet place

Not far away from San Juan de la Rambla (about 7 kilometres) and 20 kilometres away from Puerto de la Cruz there is the town Buen Paso.

Buen Paso is a little Canarian village in the northwest of Tenerife. Because of the size there are only a few holiday houses, apartments or fincas.

Anyone wanting to experience an individual vacation on Tenerife is in good hands in Buen Paso. A quiet and relaxing vacation atmosphere is certain here. Banana plantations, blooming flowers as well as fruit gardens characterize the view of the place. However the town beach is not equipped with the typical touristy comfort. Only a small bay with volcanic stones does not offer much space for your towel. But in the town centre there are enough shopping possibilities to do self catering. The restaurants and bars also serve a holiday guest with delicious Canary kitchen on-site. Anyone prefering a sandy beach and a bit more "luxury" should drive to Playa de San Marcos (near Icod de los Vinos), reachable in about 15 driving minutes. The Chance should be taken to see the "Drago Milenario" (The oldest dragon tree on Tenerife).

A 18 hole golf complex (Buenavista Golf) is situated in a 20 kilometres distance in Buenavista. The southern airport is reachable from Buen Paso in about 80 minutes of drive.

One can also reach in the vacation in Buen Paso every destination on Tenerife with the public bus transport. Anyone wanting to be mobile will need a rental car.
