Las Galletas in the south of Tenerife - Holiday homes in a warm place

A former, quiet fishing village in the sunny south of Tenerife - that is Las Galletas.

Because of the stronger getting tourism meanwhile this locality is grown together with its neighbouring town Costa del Silencio.

Besides bars, restaurants (in which fresh fish is tastefully prepared every day), cafés and numerous shopping possibilities you can also lay back at the beach.

A vulcanic beach (mostly very rocky) belongs to the town as well as a romantic yacht harbour, which still oozes the typical canary charme. The big touristic mass run has not arrived here yet. Cultivated and chic holiday houses and apartments, in which you can enjoy the silence and calm - and also live in a comfortable distance to the package holiday tourism - also exist in Las Galletas.

Who however misses the large bathing beaches in the main tourism areas of Los Cristianos or Las Américas, can reach them with the rental car thanks to well signed roads in a twenty minutes drive.

Beatiful is also the beach promenade of Las Galletas - along the Atlantic Ocean you can take walk up to Costa del Silencio here.

The southern airport is situated a good twenty minutes drive away from Las Galletas. There is also a public bus connection by a bus line.
