Located in the sunny southwest of the island Tenerife is - La Caleta - a former canary fishing village.

In the last years a great development in the direction of tourism took place here.

A vacation in La Caleta can be very multifaceted. The golfcourse "Costa Adeje Golf" (a 27 hole complex) is reachable in about ten minutes of driving. In addition to that you have a wonderful sandy beach with a beach bar, in which there is often live music, builded here - the place is also ideal for diving or snorkeling. Furthermore there are is also a black vulcanic nature beach, which is only reachable by foot. In the city centre of La Caleta you can find typical Tapas restaurants, excellent fish restaurants and also some shopping possibilities.

The southern airport is reachable in tightly thirty minutes with the rental car. The beach promenade of the popular southern holiday places Los Cristianos or Las Américas in about twenty minutes.

Tipp. After an about half an hour lasting hike from La Caleta you reach a bright sandy beach in a bay sourrounded by rocks. All around the beach there are dropouts (Hippies) living, who have built some little huts made of palm leaves and stones here. Dogs are also very welcome here. The way to this beautiful beach is really worth it.
