Icod el Alto in the north of Tenerife - holiday homes in a small town

Nearly central between Icod de los Vinos and Puerto de la Cruz (both in a 30 minutes distance by car) Icod el Alto is located.

Icod el Alto is a rural Canary town about 10 kilometres away from Los Realejos. Far away from the package tourism individual vacationers enjoy their holidays here. Especially holiday houses and fincas with a big outdoor area are very popular here. You do not feel the great run of mass tourism here. The inhabitants mainly live on the agriculture. Therefor quiet and idyllic moments are determining in Icod el Alto during the vacation.

The next bathing beach from Icod el Alto is the black sandy beach of Playa del Socorro (about 20 driving minutes).

Some shopping possibilities can be found in Icod el Alto. Who wants a wider range of shops, bars and restaurants with local and international food, should visit the historical city La Orotava (about 30 minutes drive).

Who is passionate about golf, can have a tee shot in the same distace (30 km) in Buenavista Golf or in Real Club de Golf de Tenerife.

The southern airport is about 70 kilometres away from Icod el Alto. A rental car is recommended.
