El Desierto - a small village in the south of Tenerife - belongs to the community Granadilla.

A very rural region engraves the view of the place. El Desierto is not a typical package holiday area. Here you get away from the mass tourism entirely. Forget the every day stress and find relaxation, silence and peace. If you however want some hustle and bustle for change, you should get a rental car (or hop on a public bus) and visit the southern tourism hotspots. Los Cristianos or Las Américas are reachable in a good half an hour (with convenient traffic).

For Tenerife vacationers the fincas in El Desierto certainly offer ideal possibilities for relaxation, because some of them are offered for touristic renting.
