Armeñime - Tenerife

The small town Armeñime is located in the sun - blessed south west of Tenerife and belongs to the community Adeje. Situated at the coastal road of the island the village is about 4 km away from the beaches Playa La Caleta, Playa Paraíso and Playa el Puertito.

The place offers some little bars and cafes, as well as a supermarket. However Armeñime is especially suitable for golfers. It is a good starting point for the different surrounding golf courses. In a few minutes with the car you are at the 5 star golf course Abama and at the golf course Costa Adeje.

The place is mostly known for its pearl industry "Tenerife Pearls". There you can visit the pearl museum and either buy real or artificial pearls. After that there is the possibility to go to the cafe.

Furthermore in front of the Abama hotel there is an artificial sandy beach. It belongs to the hotel, but on Tenerife every beach has to be open for public and therefore also this beach can be visited by tourists.

The southern airport is reachable with the rental car in about 20 minutes.
