After an architectural competition 25 proposals were selected from 400 ideas and realized here by the Institute for Renewable Energy. The houses are well-thought-out down to the last detail and most exactly adapted to the climate! The houses remain cool in summer and does not cool down in winter. A fine sensory system monitors temperature, humidity and ventilation, so that every house "react" accordingly. The high-tech "eco-village" is just a 10 minute walk along a path from the coast. Here, at the nature reserve Montaña Pelada, are three natural beaches that invite to long walks.
