Detached house with terrace and 2 gardens in bioclimatic village

This holiday home is located in an ecological village in the sunny south of Tenerife. The village is free from CO2 emissions. The energy power comes from wind and solar plants. The best 25 from 400 proposals were selected in an architectural competition and implemented by the Institute for Renewable Energy in Tenerife. Each house is an architectural marvel. In winter and in summer the house stays in a comfortable temperature through sensors and the humidity is regulated through the ventilation.

The settlement is located in a quiet location. Within a 10 minutes walk you can get to 3 beautiful natural beaches of the Montaña Pelada, the nature reserve, which is also perfect for beautiful walks along the sea. There are occasional nudists, thanks to the secluded beaches.

The idea for this house was from an architect of Lanzarote, as he has been there observing the viticulture. The vine is planted there in a half-walled pit. In this way, the vine is protected from the wind and the humidity is stored. He transferred the idea of a ​​constant climate to his project, so that the walls are the main feature of the house. By combining the bright limestone and plenty of wood, this house offers a feeling of security.

The house is very tastefully decorated and classy. There are three bedrooms, one with a double bed, two with two single beds. The living room has large windows to the left and to the right with views of a beautiful garden. There are also two beautiful bathrooms, each with a bathtub with shower. These are a highlight of the house because they are embedded in the ground and from here one has the relaxed bath outlook in those gardens.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering.

Approximately 7 minutes away by car is El Medano with lots of shopping possibilities and a variety of restaurants, bars and cafes. You can also order your supermarket purchase via Internet, which are delivered within 24 hours. Also delivery meals are possible. For this purpose, there is a list of menus in the house.
