After the great success of the first Tenerife Walking Festival in 2015, there will be a second one from the 29th March to 2nd April 2016.
The Tenerife Walking Festival makes to the program, which is for many tourists the main incentive for a holiday in Tenerife, namely the incredibly beautiful nature. On 15 different walking tours, participants can explore the island with a professional guide. The 15 walking routes are divided into three different landscapes from which the participants can select four according to their interests. Participants can choose between coastal paths, volcanic trails and walks through lush green landscapes.
Other activities such as exhibitions, tastings with typical Canary specialties, bathing in volcanic pools and star-gazing are offered as a part of the festival to experience and get to know the island more intensively.
The town of Puerto de la Cruz is the heart of the Tenerife Walking Festival. It is aimed at amateur hikers, members of walking clubs and of course at all walking and nature lovers. Registration is limited to 300 people.
The registration fee is 20 € per person, but the walks must be booked extra. The registration fee includes transportation to all walks, a welcome pack, a professional, local guide, all kinds of discounts for staying in Puerto de la Cruz and the entrance to the “meeting point”, where all walkers can spend their afternoons together.
Who has now the desire to experience incredible hiking pleasures and Tenerife’s impressive and diverse landscapes will find all information and the detailed program on the Tenerife Walking Festival website. Also there the registration can be made.
